PORT ELIZABETH, South Africa, 3 September 2018 – Word of Faith Christian Centre will be hosting a Women’s Conference starting on Friday, 7 September and ending on Sunday, 9 September with a Family Fun Day.

A weekend event, the conference will take place at the 2000-seater Word of Faith Christian Centre church in William Moffett Expressway.
This year the conference features keynote speakers Wyona Norman and Bianca Lee Norman from the United Kingdom, local pastor, Abby Blignaut, and Arise founder, Mariana Crompton.

Word of Faith invites all women to an inspirational weekend complimented with a pop-up beauty salon, food trucks, stalls, a second-hand shop, delicious coffee, an indian cuisine restaurant, inspirational talks, practical breakaway sessions and time with your girlfriends.

This year the Arise conference boasts a Q & A session on sensitive women’s health topics such as the M Cup, menopause, depression and digital breast screening with local nurses and experts from Schuin Villa Pharmacy, a talk about financial skills with Momentum regional manager, Alice Selokoma, and a cooking class with local chef, Sandhir Orie.

In addition, attendees stand the chance of winning a weekend for two at the 5-star Kuzuko Lodge to the value of R14600, jewellery from Havilah Designer Jewellers and a R3000 cash prize from Charl Lötter of CB Estates.

Proceeds from the Arise second-hand shop will go toward non-profit organisation, Project Hope. Women attending can also ‘Adopt a Girl’ from the organisation by providing her with a toiletry bag, her upcoming camp fee, or a notebook and pen. Upon adopting a girl, attendees receive her name, age and a letter she has written to her benefactor.

“At Arise we want to enable and equip women to go back to their homes and neighbourhoods as agents of positive life change with an ‘I can’ that will last,” says founder and host, Mariana Crompton.

“Your life is way bigger than the moment you’re in right now, your influence is far greater than you realize, you have been chosen and called to the kingdom for such a time as this,” writes Wyona Norman in her blog about the upcoming conference.
Arise is the best place to wind down from the buzz of life and also a time to focus on your own life, spiritually, emotionally and physically.

Registrations for individual seminars and breakaway sessions open at 6pm on the Friday evening. To register for the Arise Conference Women’s Conference complete the online form on www.ariseconference.org.za or email madge@wordoffaith.org.za.
