Breakaway Sessions
How can we best protect our children in online spaces? The dangers are many, and as parents, we keep learning every day. BUT we are not called to live in fear. We have a God who equips us for every battle.
This year, Debbie Hemmens will host a practical workshop focused on the steps we can take to protect our children and teens in a digital world. We’ll explore some of the online risks young people face, such as:
- Grooming & catfishing
- Cyberbullying
- Sexting & sextortion
- AI deepfakes, altered images & screenshots
- Gaming & digital addiction
- Social media and its impact
Debbie will share preventative strategies and the practical ways parents and families can respond. We don’t want our children and teens saying, “but I didn’t know, or why didn’t someone tell me.” We want them to know what to do, who they can talk to and how to make wise choices.
